The Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) is a formal arrangement between the Australian Government and 13 regional authorities. It allows approved employers to sponsor overseas workers for roles they cannot fill locally. Each region has its own occupation list and visa concessions tailored to its workforce needs.
